This 1969 Chevrolet Impala Convertible merges timeless presence with modern speed, delivering big-block thunder through the sophistication of digital control.

Timeless American Muscle

At its core is an all-aluminum 540 cubic inch big-block Chevrolet, managed by a Holley multi-port fuel injection system. Dyno-tested at 650 horsepower at the wheels, this engine is pure torque and ferocity crisp, immediate, and endless. The power flows through a Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed transmission into a 12-bolt rear end with 32-spline axles and a posi differential, putting every ounce of that power to the pavement.

The chassis is equally serious: tubular control arms up front, trailing arms on coilovers in the rear, and real carbon fiber wheels that deliver both lightness and attitude. Braking is handled by a Wilwood system on all four corners, bringing modern control to old-school horsepower.

Inside, the Impala’s charm is balanced by technology Dakota Digital instrumentation gives the cockpit a contemporary rhythm. During the build, we corrected and refined key systems: the Dakota Digital cluster was repaired and recalibrated, the Holley injection tuned for perfect drivability, the rear end fully resealed, and the electrical system refreshed throughout.

Red Rocket is a rolling contradiction, a vintage convertible that thinks, feels, and performs like a modern supercar.
