1992 Ford Mustang SS/MA
1992 Ford Mustang Super Stock
Legacy Motorworks is proud to support this storied 1992 Ford Mustang that embodies the grit and perseverance of American drag racing. Built around a 450-horsepower injected Ford 302 V8, this NHRA Super Stock competitor delivers pure mechanical focus and race-bred precision.
Originally prepared by Jeff Roell, the car features a Wilson Manifolds intake and throttle body, MSD ignition, Moroso breather system, C4 transmission, and the indestructible Ford 9-inch rear end. Every component reflects the relentless pursuit of performance.
Driven by Foxboro, Massachusetts racer Bob Don, the Mustang has seen decades of competition—culminating in a National Event win at Numidia Raceway and a feature in National Dragster Magazine. Bob’s return to racing after a long hiatus, and his first-ever national victory at 71, make this Ford Mustang not just a car, but a testament to endurance, skill, and the legacy of speed.
